I totally agree with you, Joshua.
In my case, I was that person — the one who took the risk at 22 years old, back in 1987, with just $300 in my pocket, but a heart full of passion to pursue my dreams. 🙏
Thank God, I never felt like I was alone.
Even in the hardest moments, I knew God was with me when I came to this country.
It was a process:
🇺🇸 Becoming a U.S. citizen
⚔️ Fighting for my goals and dreams
🌎 Chasing the so-called “American Dream”
The freedom to enjoy:
“Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Today, I’m grateful for everything I’ve been able to build:
- My family ❤️
- My business 💼 (America is still the best place to start and succeed against the odds)
- My home 🏡
- And a circle of friends and mentors who walk this journey with me
🙏 Praise God for the blessing of being able to live, work, and grow in this beautiful country.
This opportunity is not something I take for granted.
